The textbook contains a CD with nine contemporary, original short films created by the young Russian filmmakers and an exercise book with the full scripts of the films, the assignments and the keys.
Contemporary life, relations between people, problems of the modern society are vividly depicted in the films. Youth and teenagers speak conversational Russian. Several films presented in this collection were winners and participants of the international short film festivals.
The textbook is aimed at developing the oral speech skills, enriching the vocabulary and acquainting the students with the Russian realities.
It is designed for the foreign students whose knowledge of the Russian language corresponds to B1-B2 levels.
