Este libro hace parte de un complejo de enseñanza para niños de habla rusa, pero que viven en el extranjero. Está dirigido al desarrollo de las habilidades de lectura y escritura. Se compone de cuarenta lecciones. Cada lección incluye un texto, ejercicios de compreción de la gramática y la ortografía.
El sistema de los casos rusos presenta una cierta dificultad para los niños que viven en el extranjero, por lo tanto, el libro incluye muchos ejercicios para dominar este tema. Otro tema de la gramatical importante de este libro es el verbo y sus aspectos.
