El manual contiene textos para lectura, fragmentos de películas y tareas de comprensión lectora, descripción de la apariencia y carácter de los personajes a partir de fragmentos de video, para el desarrollo del habla, así como tareas grupales para predecir el desarrollo de la trama.
El libro pretende ser un puente desde el lenguaje de la ficción, a través del lenguaje figurativo del cine, hasta el lenguaje cotidiano de la audiencia. Puede usarse como guía adicional a cualquier libro de texto para estudiantes extranjeros que hablan ruso en el Primer Nivel de Certificación (TRKI – I) y continúan sus estudios en el Segundo Nivel de Certificación (TRKI – II)
