El presente libro de lectura está diseñado para estudiantes extranjeros de nivel avanzado. Está dirigido a la elaboración de las habilidades de lectura, así como habilidades de comprensión y análisis de los textos originales en ruso. Los estudiantes también aprenderán mucho sobre la cultura y la historia de Rusia. La primera parte de este libro incluye obras (o extractos de los textos) de los escritores rusos modernos escritos a principios del siglo XXI. Todos los textos tienen comentarios léxicos, gramaticales y literatura que ayudan a comprender mejor el significado de algunos nombres propios rusos, citaciones y aspectos culturales.

The present reading book is designed for foreign students of advanced level. It is aimed at the development of the reading skills as well as skills of comprehension and analysis of the original texts in Russian. The students will also learn a lot about the culture and history of Russia.
The fi rst part of this reader includes works (or extracts from texts) of the modern Russian writers written at the beginning of the 21st century.
All texts in the reader are supplied with lexical, grammatical and literature comments which help to understand them better: the meaning of some Russian proper names, citations and culture aspects.
