El libro presenta historias para niños de la escritora contemporánea Anna Verbovskaya.
El personaje principal de las historias es Kostya, tiene 9 años, un niño de lo más común. Pero en su vida comienzan a ocurrir eventos sorprendentes. Un completo desconocido de una ciudad lejana se equivoca de casa y acaba siendo para Kostya como su tío. Y un hombre chino que vino a Rusia le regala un souvenir que crece en el corazón del niño un sueño sobre un país misterioso.
El texto de las historias está adaptado (A2), acompañado de comentarios, tareas para la comprensión lectora y el desarrollo del habla. El libro aporta además, los hecho más interesantes de la biografía de Anna Verbovskaya.

Главный герой рассказов — Костик, ему 9 лет, он самый обыкновенный мальчик. Но в его жизни начинают происходить удивительные события. Так, совершенно незнакомый человек из далёкого города ошибается домом и становится для Костика как родной дядя. А приехавший в Россию китаец дарит ему сувенир, который зарождает в сердце мальчика мечту о загадочной стране.
Текст рассказов адаптирован (А2), сопровождается комментарием, заданиями на понимание прочитанного и на развитие речи. В книге приводятся наиболее интересные факты из жизни Анны Вербовской.
The book presents the stories for children by the modern writer Anna Verbovskaya. Kostik, the nine-year old boy, is the main character of the stories. He is just an ordinary boy. However, amazing events happen in his life. Once a complete stranger from a faraway town turns up at the boy’s house because of the wrong address he had. But he starts acting as if he were Kostik’s uncle. A Chinese tourist who has arrived in Russia gives him a souvenir that in its turn gives rise to a dream about a mysterious country in the heart of the boy.
The text of the stories is adapted (A2) and is supplied with the commentaries and exercises to check the understanding of the content and to develop the oral speech habits.
